ACS handling devices show similarities to robots at first glance. However, our devices, contrary to robots, do not execute movements that are programmed and rigid, but are directed and set in motion by men. Furthermore, they do not require spezial operational knowledge. By this way, the loading and unloading of an item can take place at determined places and at defined times.
The ACSpowerLift is a core component of our product range. The lifting device implemented as a vertical telescope can take up loads far outside the balance point in contrast to chain or rope hoists.
Highquality telescope guides permit an exact, sway-free lifting and manipulating in the vertical axis. The basic features of the modern lifting device are lifting capacity up to 1.000 kilograms, take-up of torques up to 4.000 newtonmeters, diverse drive concepts pneumatic, electric as well as high-quality balance controls and numerous equipment possibilities.

Special springs and system applications
As spring specialist Röhrs in Sonthofen is constantly presented with new technical challenges. Together with the customers the company is constantly enhancing the products, looking for new solutions and designing new springs for new applications.
The helical disc springs for example are now used in the company-own design of torsional vibration dampers and machine and engine dampers to avoid creep from elastomer springs. Röhrs also has developed center diaphragms, which are useful adjusting and resetting the loudspeaker in a vehicle exhaust system. In this case the sound waves from the speaker compensate for the sound waves of the motor, reducing sound emission and improving fuel economy.
The special springs with two characteristics are a further speciality, in which two spring characteristics are combined into one spring.
